SOAP 4 Today - தாழ்மைக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பரிசு

வாசிக்க: 1 இராஜாக்கள்.12, 2நாளாகமம் 10,11, பிலிப்பியர் 2.

Scripture வேத வசனம்: பிலிப்பியர்.2:6. அவர் (இயேசு) தேவனுடைய ரூபமாயிருந்தும், தேவனுக்குச் சமமாயிருப்பதைக் கொள்ளையாடின பொருளாக எண்ணாமல்,
7. தம்மைத்தாமே வெறுமையாக்கி, அடிமையின் ரூபமெடுத்து, மனுஷர் சாயலானார்.
8. அவர் மனுஷரூபமாய்க் காணப்பட்டு, மரணபரியந்தம், அதாவது சிலுவையின் மரணபரியந்தமும் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவராகி, தம்மைத்தாமே தாழ்த்தினார்.

Observation கவனித்தல் : இயேசு தம்மைத் தாமே தாழ்த்தினபடியால், பிதாவாகிய தேவன் அவரை உயர்த்தினார். தாழ்மையும் உயர்த்தப்படுதலும் பெரும்பாலும் ஒருங்கிணைந்து காணப்படுவதில்லை. முதலாவதாக தாழ்மையாக இருப்பதையும் , உங்களை உயர்த்திக் கொள்வதையும் நீங்கள் ஒரே சமயத்தில் செய்ய முடியாது. நீங்கள் உங்கள் சிறப்புகளை பெருமையுடன் கூற ஆரம்பித்தால், உங்களை மட்டம் தட்டவும் எப்புழுதும் சிலர் இருப்பார்கள் (நீதிமொழிகள் 16:18) . ஆனால் நீங்கள் தாழ்மையுடன் இருக்க ஆரம்பித்தால், மற்றவர்கள் உங்களைப் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்துவார்கள் (நீதிமொழிகள் 27:2).

Application பயன்பாடு : நான் தாழ்மையாக இருப்பதற்கு இயேசு எனக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டாக இருக்கிறார். தாழ்மையுடன் தேவனைச் சேவித்த பின்பு, அதற்குப் பரிசாக “நன்றாகச் செய்தாய்” என அவர் சொல்வதைக் கேட்கலாம்.

Prayer ஜெபம்: கர்த்தாவே, தாழ்மையைக் குறித்த சத்தியத்தையும், தாழ்மையாக வாழ்வது எப்படி என்பதையும் உம்மிடத்திலிருந்து கற்றுக் கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன். ஆமென்.

The Reward of Humility

1Kings 12; 2Chronicles 10,11; Philippians 2

Scripture: Philippians 2:6 7 but (Jesus) made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

Observation: Jesus humbled himself and was then exalted by God the Father.

Humility and exultation do not go together except in the right order. First, you cannot do both—be humble and exult yourself. And if you start off “tooting your own horn,” there will always be those around to bring you down. (Proverbs 16:18) But if you start off being humble, others will lift you up with their appreciation. (Proverbs 27:2)

Application: Jesus is my example of being humble. The reward of hearing God say “well done” will come after humbly serving.

Prayer: Lord, from you I want to learn both the truth about humility and how to better walk in it. Amen.
