SOAP 4 Today 11 - நல்ல நண்பன்

வாசிக்க: 1சாமுவேல்23 சங்கீதம் 31, 54; மத்தேயு 7.

Scripture வேத வசனம்: 1 சாமுவேல் 23:16 அப்பொழுது சவுலின் குமாரனாகிய யோனத்தான் எழுந்து, காட்டிலிருக்கிற தாவீதினிடத்தில் போய், தேவனுக்குள் அவன் கையைத் திடப்படுத்தி...

Observation கவனித்தல் : யோனத்தானின் தகப்பனாகிய சவுல் ராஜா தாவீதை வெறூத்தான். ஏனெனில் தனது மரணத்துக்குப் பின் தாவீதை தேவன் அரசனாக்குவார் என்பதை சவுல் அறிந்திருந்தான். அவன் ஒருவேளை தனது உயிருக்கு ப்யந்துகொண்டும், தனது மகனை ராஜாவாக்க விரும்பியும் பொறாமை கொண்டான். தாவீதுக்காக சவுல் பயபட எதுவும் இருக்கவில்லை, ஒரி தீய ஆவியே அத்தகைய பாதுகாப்பற்ற உணர்வை தூண்டியது. தாவீது அரசனாக வர உதவுவதற்குப் பதிலாக, சவுல் அவனை கொல்ல முயன்றான். ஆனால் தேவன் தாவீதுக்கு ஒரு உண்மையான நண்பனை தந்தார், அது வேறு யாருமல்ல - சவுலின் மகனாகிய யோனத்தான் தான். தாவீதைக் கொல்வதற்காக அவனை சவுல் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாதிருக்கையில், தாவீதை உற்சாகப்படுத்த யோனத்தான் அவனை கண்டுகொண்டான். தேவன் தாவீதை சவுலின் கரங்களில் இருந்து பாதுகாத்ததோடல்லாமல் யோனத்தான் மூலமாக ஊக்குவிப்பையும் தந்தார். யோனத்தான் தான் எவ்வாறு தாவீதுக்கு உதவ முடியும் என்பதை சொல்லாமல், தேவன் தாவீதுக்கு எப்படி உதவ முடியும் என்பதை தாவீதுக்கு சொல்லி அவனை திடப்படுத்தினான்.

Application பயன்பாடு : தேவனைக் குறித்த எண்ணங்களைப் பெற எனக்கு உதவின நண்பர்களுக்காக நான் நன்றியுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேன். அவரே எனது பலத்துக்கான உண்மையான ஆதாரம். அவர் நான் தனிமையாயிருக்கும் வேளைகளிலும் கூட என்னுடன் எப்பொழுதும் இருப்பார். ஆகவே இன்று நான் நண்பர்களுக்கு பலவிதங்களில் உதவக் கூடும் என்றாலும் கூட தேவனில் திட நம்பிக்கையை அவர்கள் பெற உதவுவதையே நான் எலாவற்றிலும் மேலானதாக விரும்புகிறேன்.

Prayer ஜெபம்: : பரலோகப் பிதாவே , உம்மை நம்புவதற்கு எனக்கு உற்சாகமளித்த நல்ல நண்பர்களுக்காக உமக்கு நன்றி கூறுகிறேன். நானும் மற்றவர்கள் உம்மில் திட நம்பிக்கையைப் பெற உற்சாகப்படுத்த என்னை இன்று பயன்படுத்தும். ஆமென்!

A good friend

Scripture: 1Samuel 23:16 And Saul’s son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him to find strength in God.

Observation: Jonathan’s father, King Saul, hated David because he knew that God would have David to be king after Saul’s death. He was probably afraid for his life and jealous for his son Jonathan, wanting his son to be king. Although Saul had nothing to fear from David, an evil spirit played on those insecurities and instead of helping David prepare for kingship, Saul tried to kill him. But God had given David a true friend—none other than Saul’s son, Jonathan. When King Saul could not find David to kill him, Jonathan found David to encourage him! God not only protected David’s life from Saul, he provided encouragement through Jonathan. Jonathan did not encourage David by telling David how Jonathan would help David, but how GOD would help David.

Application: I am thankful for good friends who have helped me by getting my thoughts on God and keeping them there. He is the true source of my strength and He will always be with me, even when I am alone.
So today, I may help friends move, help them with their car, or help them in some other manner, but most of all I want to help them “find strength in God.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for good friends who have encouraged me to trust you. Use me today to encourage others to do the same. Amen.
