SOAP 4 Today - கிருபை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் சமாதானம்

வாசிக்க: யோவேல் 1-3; 2தீமோத்தேயு 1

Scripture வேத வசனம்: 2தீமோத்தேயு 1:2. பிரியமுள்ள குமாரனாகிய தீமோத்தேயுவுக்கு எழுதுகிறதாவது: பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலும் கிருபையும் இரக்கமும் சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக.

Observation கவனித்தல்: பவுல் தான் பெற்றிருந்த கிருபை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் சமாதானத்தை தீமோத்தேயுவும் உண்டாகும்படி எழுதுகிறார். இந்த மூன்று ஈவுகளையும் பெற்று பவுல் தேவனால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தார். தீமோத்தேயுவும் அதே போல ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட விரும்பினார். கிருபை: நாம் பெற தகுதியில்லாததைப் பெறுவது; இரக்கம்: நாம் அடைய வேண்டியதைப் பெறாமல் இருப்பது; சமாதானம்: குரோத மனப்பானமை இன்றி இருத்தல்; தேவன் இதை பவுலுக்கு கொடுத்து அவருக்கு எவ்வித பகைமை உணர்வுமின்றி நடத்தினார்.

Application பயன்படுத்தல்: கிருபை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் சமாதானத்தை நானும் பெற்றிருக்கிறேன். என்னிடமிருந்து எதையும் பெறத் தகுதி இல்லாத ஒருவர் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படி ஏதாவது ஒரு செயலை செய்வதன் மூலமாக நான் எனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட கிருபையை அவரையும் பெறச் செய்யலாம். எனக்கு தீமை செய்த ஒருவருக்கு நானும் தீமை செய்யாமல் இருப்பதன் மூலம் நான் இரக்கத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தலாம். இன்று நான் மற்றவர்களை மன்னித்து சமாதானமாக வாழலாம்.

Prayer ஜெபம்: கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய கிருபை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் சமாதானம் ஆகியவை என்னிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு மற்றவர்களைச் சேராத பட்சத்தில் அவை அதன் முழுப் பயனையும் தராது என்பதை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன். நான் கிருபை உள்ளவனாகவும் இரக்கம் உள்ளவனாக மற்றும் சமாதானமாக வாழ உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் மூலம் எனக்குதவும்.

Grace, mercy, and peace

Joel 1-3; 2Timothy 1

Scripture: 2Timothy 1:2 To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

Observation: Paul was passing along to Timothy what he had personally received: grace, mercy, and peace. He had been blest with these three special gifts from God and desired that Timothy be blest also. Grace: receiving what we do not deserve: Paul had received from God far beyond anything he could ever deserve. Mercy: not getting what we deserve: Paul was not held responsible for the way he had persecuted believers in Jesus. Peace: the absence of hostility: God had forgiven Paul and treated him with no animosity.

Application: I too have received grace, mercy, and peace! Today I am to extend grace by doing something for someone who has done nothing to deserve it. (I can let another driver cut in front of me.) Today I am to extend mercy by not paying back a wrong done to me. (I can let another driver cut in front of me even though he previously narrowly cut me off.) Today I can live in peace by forgiving and giving people room to make mistakes. (Like not driving on the bumper of the car in front of me and allowing room for other cars on the road.)

Prayer: Lord, I know that your grace, mercy and peace have not had their full effect in my life until they can flow through me to others. By your Holy Spirit, help me to be graceful, merciful and live in peace. Amen.
