Scripture வேதவசனம்: 2தீமோத்தேயு 3:1 மேலும், கடைசிநாட்களில் கொடியகாலங்கள் வருமென்று அறிவாயாக.
2. எப்படியெனில், மனுஷர்கள் தற்பிரியராயும், பணப்பிரியராயும், வீம்புக்காரராயும், அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களாயும், தூஷிக்கிறவர்களாயும், தாய் தகப்பன்மாருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களாயும், நன்றியறியாதவர்களாயும், பரிசுத்தமில்லாதவர்களாயும்.....
7. எப்போதும் கற்றாலும் ஒருபோதும் சத்தியத்தை அறிந்து உணராதவர்களாயிருக்கிற பெண்பிள்ளைகளுடைய வீடுகளில் இப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் நுழைந்து, அவர்களை வசப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்.
Observation கவனித்தல் : பல்வேறு குணாதிசயமுடையோரைப் பற்றி சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கும் இந்த வேத பகுதியில், “எப்பொழுது கற்றாலும் சத்தியத்தை ஒருபோதும் உணராதவர்களை” பற்றியும் வாசிக்கிறோம். ஒரு ஆச்சரியமான காரியத்தை நாம் இங்கே காண்கிறோம்: கற்றுக்கொள்ளுதல் என்பது ஜனங்களை உண்மைக்கு சமீபமாகக் கொண்டு வரவேண்டும். ஆனால் தேவனுக்கு எதிராக தங்கள் மனதைத் திருப்பியவர்கள் சிருஸ்டிப்பு மற்றும் ஏனைய காரியங்களில் அவருடைய பங்கு வெளிப்படையாக இருப்பதை ஒப்புக் கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள்.
மனிதன் ஆண் மற்றும் பெண் ஆகிய இருவரின் உடற்கூறுகளைக் குறித்து ஏராளமாகக் கற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறான். ஆயினும் ஓரினச் சேர்க்கை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக் கூடியதுதான் என்று சட்டம் இயற்றுகிறான், அது வழக்கமானதுதான் என்றும் கூட ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறான். கருவில் ஒரு குழந்தை எப்படி உண்டாகிறது என்பதைக் குறித்த ஆச்சரியமான அறிவு மனிதனுக்கு இப்போது உண்டு. எனினும் கருக்கலைப்பு சரிதான் என்று எண்ணுகிறான். கருக்கலைப்பு பற்றி கற்றுக்கொடுக்கும் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகள் உண்டு. இது எப்படி? எப்பொழுதும் கற்றுக் கொள்ளுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் வெளிப்படையான உண்மையை ஒப்புக் கொள்கிறதில்லை. ஏனெனில் இவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு சற்றேனும் இடம் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை.
பல காரியங்களை அறிந்திருக்கிறதைக் குறித்து சீக்கிரத்தில் பெருமை கொள்ளும் மனிதன், முழுமுதல் உண்மையானவரான தேவனை அறிவதை இழந்துவிடக் கூடும்.
Application பயன்பாடு: புள்ளிவிவரங்கள், உண்மைகள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது நான் மிகவும் கவனமாயிருக்கவேண்டும். தேவனைக் குறித்த வேத வசனங்கள் இன்று என் இருதயத்தை வெளிப்படுத்த்கிற குறிப்பிட்ட உண்மையை நான் தவற விடாதிருக்க கவனமாயிருக்கவேண்டும். உண்மையைப் பாழாக்கும் தவறான கருத்துகள் எனக்குள் இருக்கக் கூடும். நான் கவனமாக இருக்காவிடில் இவ்வுலக சிந்தனைக்கு எனக்குள் இடமளித்துவிடக் கூடும்.
Prayer ஜெபம்: கர்த்தாவே, என்னுடைய கற்றுக்கொள்ளுதல் எப்பொழுதுமே என்னை உண்மையின் ஊற்றாம் உம்மிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரட்டும். நீர் மிகவும் பூரணமாக உண்மையை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர். நான் உம்மை நம்ப முடியும். ஆமென்.
Learning & Truth
2Kings 13,14; 2Chronicles 25; 2Timothy 3
Scripture: 2Timothy 3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,…
7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.
Observation: Among the more than twenty characteristics give in these verses of people in the last days, we read “always learning, but never able to acknowledge the truth.” Here is an amazing thing: learning should bring people closer to the truth of reality, but people have their minds set against God so will not acknowledge His obvious part in creation or in anything else.
Man has learned much about the designed sexual union of a man and a woman, yet will pass laws that homosexuality is acceptable, even normal! Man now has wonderful knowledge about that little life in the womb and how it develops, yet thinks it is OK to abort it! There are medical colleges who teach abortion! How can that be?! They are “always learning” but not able to acknowledge the obvious truth because they leave God out of the picture.
Man can so easily become proud of knowing so many things and miss knowing the One who is the Ultimate Truth!
Application: I need to be careful in learning statistics and facts and even scripture verses about God that I miss the specific truth that is working to reveal to my heart today. I can have pre-conceived ideas that camouflage the truth. If I am not careful I can have bits and pieces of the world’s thinking hidden in my life.
Prayer: Lord, may my learning always bring me to You, the source of all truth. You perfectly understand reality. I can trust You. Amen.
