Follow-up பின் தொடர்பு

Scripture வேத வசனம்: 1 சாமுவேல் 12:23 நானும் உங்களுக்காக விண்ணப்பம் செய்யாதிருப்பேனாகில் கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவஞ்செய்கிறவனாயிருப்பேன்; அது எனக்குத் தூரமாயிருப்பதாக; நன்மையும் செவ்வையுமான வழியை நான் உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பேன்.

Observation கவனித்தல் : சாமுவேல் திரும்பவும் தனது பணிக்கு அழைக்கப்பட்டாலும் கூட, இச்சமயத்தில் அவர் இஸ்ரவேலின் தமைமைத்துவத்தை ஒரு ராஜாவுக்கு மாற்றிக் கொடுத்து விட்டு மக்களின் புகழில் இருந்து தன்னை விலக்கிக்கொண்டார். தனது தொட்ர்ச்சியான/பின் தொடர்புப் பணியின் முக்கியமானதொரு பகுதியாக அவர் ஜெபத்தைக் கண்டார். அதைச் செய்யாமலிருந்தால் பாவமாயிருக்கும் என்பது மிகவும் முக்கியமானதாகும். அவர் ஜெபிக்க பெலனுள்ளவராக இருந்தமட்டும் அவருடைய பணி முடியவில்லை.

Application பயன்பாடு : எனக்கு பிரியமானவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையில் உற்சாகமாக ஈடுபடுவதிலிருந்து நான் விலகி இருக்க வேண்டிய நேரங்கள் உண்டு, ஆனால் எனது வேலை முடிந்து விட்டது என்பதை அது குறிப்பதில்லை. நான் ஜெபிக்க முடியும். எனது மகன் முதன்முறையாக பள்ளிக்கூடம் போகும் போது ம் மற்றும் பள்ளிக்குச் செல்லும் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நான் ஜெபிக்கலாம். நான் வேலைக்காக வீட்டைவிட்டுச் செல்லும் போது நான் ஜெபிக்க முடியும். ஒரு நாளோ அல்லது வருடமோ நான் வீட்டில் இல்லாமல் இருக்க வேண்டியது வந்தால், நான் ஜெபிக்க முடியும். இன்னொரு பராமரிப்பாளரிடம் பிரச்சனை ஒப்படைக்கப் படும்போது நான் ஜெபிக்க முடியும். எனக்கு ஜெபிப்பதற்கு நேரமில்லாமல் நான் அவர்களுக்கு உதவுவதில் மும்முரமாக செலவழித்த சக்தியைக் காட்டிலும் அதிகமாக என் ஜெபங்கள் உதவிகரமாக இருக்கக் கூடும். நான் ஜெபிக்காத வரைக்கும் எந்தவிதமான பின் தொடர்புப் பணியும் முழுமையானது அல்ல.

Prayer ஜெபம் : ஆண்டவரே, நான் ஜெபிக்காத வரைக்கும் எனது வேலை முடிவடைவதில்லை. ஜெபிக்கும்படிக்கு என் மனதில் எண்ணத்தைத் தாரும். ஆமென்!

Follow-up

Scripture: 1Samuel 12:23 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.

Observation: Although Samuel would be called back into duty, he was at this time turning the leadership of Israel over to a king and stepping back out of the limelight. He saw prayer as being an important part of his continuing/follow-up ministry. It was so important that not doing it would be sin. As long as he was able to pray, his job was not over.

Application: There are times when I have to step back from active involvement in the lives of those special to me, but that does not mean my job is over. I can pray. I could pray when my son headed out to his first day of school, and every school day. I can pray as I drive off from my house, heading to work. If I must be absent from my family for a day or a year, I can pray. I can pray when the crisis has moved into the hands of other caregivers. It may be that my prayers are more helpful than the energy I invested when I were so busy helping them that I did not have time to pray! Any type of follow-up work is not complete until I have prayed.

Prayer: Lord, my job is not over until I have prayed. Put the thought in my mind to pray. Amen.
