SOAP 4 Today - 6 தேவ பிரசன்னத்திற்கு பதில் தருதல்

Scripture வேத வசனம் : மத்தேயு 2:2,11 யூதருக்கு ராஜாவாகப் பிறந்திருக்கிறவர் எங்கே? கிழக்கிலே அவருடைய நட்சத்திரத்தைக் கண்டு, அவரைப் பணிந்து கொள்ள வந்தோம் என்றார்கள்....அவர்கள் அந்த வீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, பிள்ளையையும் அதின் தாயாகிய மரியாளையும் கண்டு, சாஷ்டாங்கமாய் விழுந்து அதைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, தங்கள் பொக்கிஷங்களைத் திறந்து, பொன்னையும் தூபவர்க்கத்தையும் வெள்ளைப்போளத்தையும் அதற்குக் காணிக்கையாக வைத்தார்கள்.

Observation கவனித்தல் : “உண்மையாக ஆராதிப்பவர்களை” தேவன் தேடுகிறார் (யோவான் 4: 24ன் படி) என்பதால் , புதிய ஏற்பாட்டில் முதலாவதாக குறிப்பிடப்படும் ஆராதனையை கவனிப்பது நல்லது. ஆராதனை தியாகத்தை உள்ளடக்கியிருக்கிறது; கிழக்கிலிருந்து வந்த சாஸ்திரிகள் ஒரு நீண்ட பயணத்தை மேற்கொண்டிருந்தனர். ஆராதனையில் ஒருவர் தன்னைத்தானே தாழ்த்திக் கொள்வதும் அடங்கும்; சாஸ்திரிகள் சாஷ்டாங்கமாஇ விழுந்து பணிந்து கொண்டனர். ஆராதனையில் (காணிக்கை) கொடுப்பதும் அடங்கியிருக்கிறது; சாஸ்திரிகள் ஒரு இராஜாவுக்கு ஏற்ற பரிசுகளைக் கொண்டு வந்திருந்தனர். மேலும் ஆராதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒருவரின் பிரசன்னத்தில் ஆராதனை நடைபெற்றது; சாஸ்திரிகள் பணிந்து கொள்வதற்காக வந்திருந்தனர், ஆனால் அவர்கள் குழந்தையை காண்கிறவரைக்கும் அதைச் செய்யவில்லை.

Application பயன்பாடு : ஆராதனையே தேவ பிரசன்னத்தை சரியாக அங்கீகரிக்கிற ஒரு காரியமாகும். என் தேவன் ஏதோ ஒரு கோவிலிலோ அல்லது புண்ணிய ஸ்தலத்திலோ அல்ல, எனக்குள் வாசம் செய்கிறார். ஆராதிப்பதற்கு (தொழுகைக்கு) நான் குறிப்பிட்ட இடத்திற்கு செல்ல வேண்டியதில்லை. இந்த நாள் முழுவதிலும் பல சமயங்களில், ஆண்டவருக்கு முன்பாக என் ஆவியில் பணிந்து அவரை தொழுது கொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பு எனக்கிருக்கிறது. மேலும் எனது வார்த்தைகளால் நன்றி மற்றும் துதி காணிக்கக்களை அவருக்கு தர முடியும்.

Prayer ஜெபம் : கர்த்தாவே நீர் எனக்குள் வசிக்கிறீர். நான் எப்பொழுதும் உம் பிரசன்னத்தில் வாழ்கிறேன். இந்த நாளை நீர் என்னுடன் கூட செலவழித்து மகிழ்வீராக. ஆமென்!

Responding to His Presence

Scripture: Matthew 2: 2 and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."…
11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.

Observation: Since (according to John 4:23) God is seeking “true worshippers” it is good to consider this first mention of worship in the New Testament. Worship involves sacrifice; the Magi from the east had taken the time for a long journey. Worship includes humbling one’s self; the Magi bowed down. Worship involves giving; the Magi brought gifts appropriate for a king. And worship is done in the presence of the one worshipped; the Magi had “come to worship” but they did not worship until they “saw the child.”

Application: Worship is the proper recognition of presence of deity. My God does not live in some temple or shrine, but within me. I do not have to travel to any special location to worship. Many times throughout this day, I will have opportunity to pause, bow in my spirit before the Lord, and with my words present Him gifts of thanksgiving and appreciation.

Prayer: Lord, You live within me. I am always in Your Presence! May You enjoy spending this day with me. Amen.
