SOAP 4 Today - முழுமனதோடு தேடுதல்

வாசிக்க: 1இராஜாக்கள் 16; 2நாளாகமம் 15,16, கொலோசேயர் 1

Scripture வேத வசனம்: 2நாளாகமம் 15:12. தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைத் தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் தேடுவோம் என்றும்;........................
15. இந்த ஆணைக்காக யூதா ஜனங்கள் யாவரும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள், தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் ஆணையிட்டு, தங்கள் முழுமனதோடும் அவரைத் தேடினார்கள்; கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டு, சுற்றுப்புறத்தாரால் யுத்தமில்லாதபடிக்கு அவர்களை இளைப்பாறப்பண்ணினார்.

Observation கவனித்தல் : ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் தேவனைத் தேடும்போது, தேவன் உயர்த்தப்படுகிறார் என்பதை நாம் அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம். முழு மனதோடு ஜனங்கள் தேடுவதைத்தான் தேவனும் விரும்புகிறார்.

தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவரின் இருதயப் பாங்கு மற்றும் தீவிரம் ஆகியவையே அவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு கொடுக்கும் மதிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. ஒருவர் லட்சம் மதிப்புள்ள ஒரு பொருளைத் தேடுவதற்குக் கொடுக்கும் தீவிரத்தன்மையை தொலைந்து போன 100 ரூபாய்க்கு கொடுக்க மாட்டார்.

Application பயன்பாடு : தேவனுடன் நேரம் செல்வழிப்பதை ஏதாவது தடைசெய்யும்போது நான் அதை எந்தளவுக்கு தொந்தரவாக எண்ணுகிறேன்?

Prayer ஜெபம்: கர்த்தாவே, நான் ஜெபத்தில் உம்மிடம் வரும்போது, உமக்கு அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்காமல் பலமுறை இருந்திருக்கிறேன். இன்று உம்மை முழு இருதயத்தோடும், முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் நான் தேடுகிற் ஆமென்!

Eagerly

1Kings 16; 2Chronicles 15,16; Colossians 1

Scripture: 2Chronicles 15: 12 They entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul….

15 All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the LORD gave them rest on every side.

Observation: Surely we can understand that God is blessed when people seek Him “with all their heart and soul.” Surely God likes to be sought "eagerly."

The attitude and intensity of the seeker demonstrates the value they ascribe to what they are seeking. Looking for a lost penny does not get the intensity of that looking for a lost $1,000 savings bond.

Application: How much am I bothered when something keeps me from spending time with the Lord?

Prayer: Lord, too often in coming to you in prayer, I have acted like you are of little importance: forgive me! Today I seek you eagerly with all my heart and soul. Amen.
