SOAP 4 Today - நிலைத்திருங்கள்

வாசிக்க: 1இராஜாக்கள் 17-19; கொலோசெயர் 2

Scripture வேத வசனம்: கொலோசெயர் 2:6.ஆகையால், நீங்கள் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபடியே, அவருக்குள் வேர்கொண்டவர்களாகவும், அவர்மேல் கட்டப்பட்டவர்களாகவும், அவருக்குள் நடந்துகொண்டு,
7. நீங்கள் போதிக்கப்பட்டபடியே, விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதிப்பட்டு, ஸ்தோத்திரத்தோடே அதிலே பெருகுவீர்களாக.

Observation கவனித்தல் : தீர்மானம் எடுப்பதுடன் நின்றுவிடாமல், அத்தீர்மானத்தின்படி வாழ்வது மிக முக்கியமானது ஆகும். துவக்கத்துடன் நின்றுவிடாது, தொடர்ந்து வாழ்வதும் முக்கியமாகும். இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை நான் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்பதுடன் அவரை நான் என் ஆண்டவராகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்பது முக்கியமானது. அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டிருப்பதுடன் நின்றுவிடாமல், அவருடைய கர்த்தத்துவத்தின்கீழ் என் வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்வதற்கு அவரில் நான் நிலைத்திருக்கவேண்டும்.

நான் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை என் வாழ்க்கையில் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபோது அவர் எனக்கு ஆண்டவராக இருந்தவண்ணமாகவே இப்போது அவர் இருக்கிறார். துவங்குவது கடினமல்ல, தொடர்ந்து அதில் நிலைத்திருப்பதே சவாலானது

Application பயன்பாடு : தேவனுடன் நேரம் செல்வழிப்பதை ஏதாவது தடைசெய்யும்போது நான் அதை எந்தளவுக்கு தொந்தரவாக எண்ணுகிறேன்?

Prayer ஜெபம்: கர்த்தாவே, நான் தொடர்ந்து உம்முடன் நடக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே என் விருப்பம் ஆகும். நான் என் இஷ்டத்தின் படிச் சென்ற வழிகளில் தொடர்ந்து செல்லாமல், உம்முடைய வழிகளுக்கு உடனடியாக திரும்பவே விரும்புகிறேன். ஆமென்!

Scripture: Colossians 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,
7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Observation: It is not just making a commitment; it is living out that commitment. It is not just starting; it is living! It is not that I received Christ Jesus; it is that I received Him as LORD. It is not that I just received Him; it is that I continue to live my life in His Lordship!

Jesus is just as much LORD today as He was the day I received Him into my life. The difficulty was not in the getting started; the challenge is in the continuing!

Application: To continue to live in His Lordship, I must continue to put down deep roots. I must continue to reach up. I must become stronger. Then I will be overflowing with thankfulness. I am finding that the hardest thing about living for Jesus is that it is so daily. But that is the best thing too!

Prayer: Lord, it is my desire to continue walking with you. In areas where I have gone my own way, I surely do not want to continue but quickly return to your ways. Amen.
