Scriptureவேதவசனம்:1தீமோத்தேயு:4.மூப்பராகிய சங்கத்தார் உன்மேல் கைகளை வைத்தபோது தீர்க்கதரிசனத்தினால் உனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட வரத்தைப்பற்றி அசதியாயிராதே.

Observation கவனித்தல்: தீமோத்தேயுவுக்கு பவுல் எழுதின வார்த்தைகள் நாமெல்லாரும் கருத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டிய நல்ல வார்த்தை ஆகும். அசட்டை செய்தல் என்பது ஒரு காரியத்திற்கு அதற்கு உரிய கவனத்தைக் கொடுக்காமல் இருப்பதைக் குறிக்கும். அதைக் குறைவாக மதிப்பிடுவது ஆகும். தீமோத்தேயு தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஆவிக்குரிய வரங்கள் மற்றும் பொறுப்புகளில் கவனம் செலுத்தி, அதைப் பராமரித்து பயன்படுத்த வேண்டியதாயிருந்தது.

தேவனிடமிருந்து அனைவரும் வரங்களையும் வாய்ப்புகளையும் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். அவைகள் பிரயோஜனமாக இருக்கும்படிக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட வரங்களை அலட்சியம் செய்வதி பின்வரும் காரியங்கள் காரணமாயிருக்கின்றன: முக்கியத்துவமில்லாத காரியங்களைச் செய்தல், பெரிய ஒரு காரியத்தைச் செய்துகொண்டிருபதாக எப்போதும் கனவு காணுதல், தவறான முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்தல் மற்றும் பல காரியங்கள்.

Neglect

2Kings 8,9; 2Chronicles 21; 1Timothy 4

Scripture: 1Timothy 4:14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

Observation: Paul’s words to young Timothy are good for all of us to consider. To neglect something is to give it less attention than it deserves. It is to devalue it. Timothy was to pay attention, to take care, and to use the spiritual gifts and responsibilities.

Eve ryone has received talents and opportunities from God. These are given to make them useful. Some things that might cause one to neglect their gift are: business about unimportant things, laziness, always dreaming about doing something bigger, procrastination, and others.

Application: Prayer: what a special gift! I should not neglect it. The Bible: what a special gift! I should not neglect it. My family: what special gifts! I should not neglect them. Relationships: what special gifts! I should not neglect them. The gifts of the Holy Spirit, assignments, opportunities, understanding: all special gifts that I should not neglect.

Prayer: Lord, I want you to see how much I value the gifts you give me by the attention I give in caring for them. Amen.
