Scripture வேத வசனம்:

1தீமோத்தேயு.1:5. கற்பனையின் பொருள் என்னவெனில், சுத்தமான இருதயத்திலும் நல்மனச்சாட்சியிலும் மாயமற்ற விசுவாசத்திலும் பிறக்கும் அன்பே.

Observation கவனித்தல் : எபேசுவிலுள்ள சபையைக் கவனிக்கும்படி தீமோத்தேயுவை பவுல் விட்டுவிட்டு வந்த பவுல், இப்போது தீமோத்தேயுவுக்கு சில ஆலோசனைகளை எழுதி அனுப்புகிறார். குழப்பங்களை உண்டுபண்ணுகிற சில காரியங்களிலிருந்து விலகி இருக்க வேண்டும் என தீமோத்தேயு சிலருக்குக் கட்டளையிட வேண்டியிருந்தது. அந்தக் கட்டளையின் நோக்கம் தீமோத்தேயுவின் அதிகாரத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துவது அல்ல, மாறாக அன்பை வளரச் செய்வது ஆகும். அந்தக் கட்டளையானது சுத்த இருதயத்திலிருந்து, நல்மனச்சாட்சியில் மற்றும் உண்மையான விசுவாசத்தில் இருந்து வந்தது என்பதைக் காணலாம்.

தந்தையருக்கு இது சிறந்த வழிகாட்டுதலைத் தருகிறது. அவர்களின் தலைமைத்துவத்தின் நோக்கம் அன்பே! அவர்கள் தமக்காகவோ அல்லது தங்கள் குறிக்கோள்களுக்காகவோ உழைக்காமல், தங்கள் குடும்பத்திற்கு உதவுவதற்காக உழைக்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் சுத்த இருதயத்தோடும், நல்ல மனச்சாட்சியுடனும், தேவனில் உள்ள உண்மையான விசுவாசத்திலும் குடும்பத்தை நடத்துகின்றனர்.

2Kings 1-3; Psalm 82; 1Timothy 1

Scripture: 1Timothy 1:5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

Observation: Paul had left Timothy in Ephesus to lead the church and he was now sending Timothy some instructions. Timothy was to command certain individuals to abstain from things that promote controversy. The goal of that command was not to assert Timothy’s authority but to promote love. I see that the command came from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

What good directives for fathers. The goal of their leadership is love! They are not serving themselves and working toward their own goals, but serving their families. They serve best with a pure heart, a good conscience and sincere faith in God!

Application: I serve best when I serve with a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith in God.

Prayer: Father, help me to grow in loving and serving my family like You love and serve me. Amen.
